Santorini Sailing & Yachting Center
The Only Locally based Sailing Center in Santorini
We are Owners, not Brokers. Our Yachts, Sailboats & Speedboats are moored in Santorini

Choosing a sailing route is difficult but fun. The Greek Islands are amazingly beautiful, with varied landscapes, dazzling beaches, original architecture and age-old history. The beauty of it is that one can 'island hop' (many of the islands being so close together).

Our base is Santorini, although we can pick up charters from the mainland or other islands. The sailing route and choice of islands depends on the charter. And of course ... the craft.

Santorini is on the southernmost fringe of the Cyclades, between Ios and Anafi. It is 76 sq.km in area, has 69 km. of coastline and is about 200 nautical miles from Piraeus. Nea Kameni (volcano) with its cinderous rocks and sulphurous vapours issues warm gases from the fissures. There are thermal springs on the neighbouring Palia Kameni.
Mykonos, reknowned for its windmills and 400 churches, the most famous being the church of Virgin Paraportiani. On the south side, beneath Kastro (Venetian castle) is 'Venice', an enclave of quaint houses actually built in the water. Famous for its nightlife.
Tinos, the island of the Holy Virgin is famous for the 1000's of pilgrims who pay homage to her name. It lies between Andros (700m), Mykonos (8 naut.miles) & N.E. of Syros (13 naut.miles).
